Some sightseeing pics of Union Station and Olvera Street, in Downtown Los Angeles
Went to Union Station this morning, to see some of the performances of Bach in the Subway Los Angeles, and took a few pictures.
The Reagan Library also has a Titanic Exhibit happening right now, and I got pics of that too. Starting with their light trick to make it look like water over the sand.
Went to the Reagan Library this weekend, and took lots of pictures. Whatever you thought of him as a governor and president, it’s a very interesting place to visit. I also have pictures from the Titanic Exhibit here.
Pictures of some elaborate Halloween decorations seen in the neighborhood near my apartment, and near where I work.
The Proud Bird, a mini-museum and food bazar near LAX that I’d never been to even though I was born and raised in Los Angeles, recently re-opened and I was there earlier this evening and took pictures of some of the items they had on display, so here they are.
In addition to the Fireworks variety, Oreo has also put out an Albertson’s exclusive (and other stores from the same family including Vons and Safeway), Waffle & Syrup.
Taco Bell is continuing with their breaded chicken offerings, and still calling it “naked chicken”. Their newest offering are their Naked Chicken Chips. Which is just Taco Bell speak for, “hey, we have chicken nuggets now, but they’re triangle shaped, and there’s only one sauce, nacho cheese”. They’re also not very…
In no particular order, since I used the drag and drop trick I learned about a couple weeks ago, after the comment in OppositeLock was shared to Whitenoise.
Still reeling from Zerstörer’s attack on the precinct, Nick and his remaining friends (and Renard) throw everything they can to stop the end times, and keep Zerstörer from taking Diana and Kelly. Death, destruction, and spoilers after the break. Also, since someone was cool enough to post them, there’s going to be a…
Taken last Monday (3/27/17), it was my first visit there, so I went full tourist mode with the picture taking. Posted in the order they were taken (except an electrical outlet, which I put slightly out of order).
On the second to last episode of Grimm, things get even worse as Zerstörer, aka Skull Face, appears to be unstoppable. Spoilers after the break.
On Friday’s Grimm, no one works a case or goes near the precinct, because it’s time for some serious Grimm business. Spoilers after the break.
Friday’s Grimm touches on a sad topic with a wesen twist. And the main story progresses as Eve tries to learn more about the mirrors and Renard continues his progress towards working with the good guys again. Spoilers after the break.
Friday’s episode of Grimm is wish fulfilment for anyone who wishes people could be stopped from polluting and otherwise damaging the environment. Plus, more on the freaky mirror incident, and Adalind’s drawing of the tunnel symbols. Spoilers after the break.
This has not been a week of healthy eating for me, but I’m not complaining. Yesterday, I was treated to a coupon flier in the mail from Wienerschnitzel, advertising their “Hot Dogs from around the USA” menu. There were 3 offerings: A Chicago Dog that I’m pretty sure they offer all the time anyway, a 2nd option that…
That’s right, while so many are skipping right to Easter, Hostess hasn’t forgot about St. Patrick’s Day and the American obsession with eating and drinking things that are green.
On Friday’s episode, we get the Grimm version of a classic monster story, while Eve deals with death grip stuff and Renard tries to learn more about Diana’s drawings. Spoilers after the break.
That’s right, Oreos is at it again, and this time they’ve come up with a Peeps flavored filling, just in time for Easter. As far as I can tell, this is a Target exclusive.
