It’s been a while. I haven’t gotten many die-cast lately(waiting for that LFA to be relases), which is mainly to my binge building of classic cars in LEGO form recently, but you probably knew that already. I want to do a Pebble Beach like scene in LEGO at some point.
It seems one of these is going up for auction:
I have not gotten much die-cast, and I have no idea what to build on my own in LEGO, so here are two builds that I originally found online:
Ferrari 250 GT Tour De France, Ferrari 250 GTO, and Ferrari 250 LM.
Kyosho Miura that arrived yesterday, and two of the Euro Speed cars that I found at Target today.
I also want to get the Lee Petty Oldsmobile.
I think I mentioned I had a 1/64 Ferrari 250 GTO on the way. Well, it never arrived, so I got a refund. Sucks that it didn’t show, but I used that refund for one of the new Petty Oldsmobiles from RCM, and a Kyosho Miura, so there’s a silver lining.
EDIT: Found this on TH.
I hope I succeeded.
My diecast Zonda Cinque Roadster arrives 😆
Glad this got a release outside Pop Culture.
The biggest issue I ended up finding was the car’s length, and it was a bit bulky at the rear. Thus, it went back to the repair shop:
This is the most recent version of my McLaren F1 LM build. I had modified the front, but, with the previous version, someone mentioned that the hood seems too long, but I’m not seeing it. I look at pictures of 1:1s extensively when building or modding, but, I would like to know if this looks like an F1 LM to you all,…
LEGO Enzo Ferrari(Brikozo Ferrari), LEGO Ferdinand Alexander Porsche(needed a minifigure to represent an iconic person from Porsche), LEGO Horacio Pagani(idk about this hair but he dresses quite casually), and LEGO Carroll Shelby. Someone here once said there needs to be more automotive figures in LEGO minifigure…
Liking the changes I made. Also, this minifigure is waving hello at you, and would like to inform you he dailys this beast.
This is from like two months ago, but within the Mini GT 1/64 display at the Nuremberg Toy Fair:
