I wrote the other day about how this little trailer followed me home.
For the past year I’ve had an odd problem with my autocross hobby. How can I keep my car looking good inside and out when I keep loading it up with all of this stuff to go racing?
With the elimination of the STP (Street Touring Pony) class this year I had to find a new home, so I picked CAMC (Classic American Muscle Contemporary). I like the fact that the CAM rules are really thin, they fit on one side of a standard sheet of paper, but it makes for a really competitive field since setups are…
And I for one can’t wait to go terrorize those cones!
We need a buffer so here’s a photo of a row of Cobra replicas...

It seems one of my neighbors has a relative who took this out for the holiday... Last registered in 2005...

I woke up this afternoon to two messages on my phone from people calling in sick to work tonight. My thought processes just told me to head in to work a little early to make sure that the rest of us would be good to go for the night before the day shift left.
Sunday morning was chilly and rainy in the middle of Texas, but that wasn’t going to stop me. I was going out racing. It was the Austin Spokes autocross #12 for 2018 and while I didn’t need the points to secure my spot for year end trophies, I was going to have some fun anyway.
Saturday was the San Antonio Sports Car Association’s 11th autocross event of the year. Due to STP being a dying class (seriously the SCCA is killing it at the end of the year) I was the only participant in class and thus was in 1st place.
And glad I don’t have a spare 8 grand in my pocket.
