He sent a package from the gulag containing this note. Since it was my birthday earlier this month, this was also included.
If you’re interested in sharing, how much do you pay per month on car insurance? Right now I pay $170/month for both cars with full coverage. I’m 29, live in Greenville SC, haven’t gotten a ticket since I was 17. I did have a claim on my insurance in October 2015, during the worst month of my life. So, what’s everyone…
When I got it on March 17, 2017 it had a mere 40k miles on it. Since then, I have amassed almost 37k miles behind the wheel. For the vast majority of the time, it’s been trouble free. It has had 3 coils go bad, and some leaking gaskets have been replaced. Other than fluids, that’s all I’ve done to it, well besides put…
Wait, that’s not right
I rectified that problem with some tape.
I hope it’s just a sensor or something, didn’t seem to drive any differently and wasn’t making any noise. I’ve had a CEL come on before and then go away and not return some I’m hoping nothing is actually wrong. Going to pull the code today and find out.
At a Carmax in Philadelphia.
I was about to say I’ve never driven one of these before; however, there is a slight caveat to that. I have driven an Audi A3, albeit on the other side of the road, which is based on the same platform as the the GTI. Since they’re not technically the same and I figured I should experience it on the side of the road…
Was wondering why I only got 13 MPG on my last tank, this is probably why.
This 128i is finished in the same Vermillion Red Metallic as mine was; however there is one key difference:
My dad wanted to have the oil in the gearbox changed as he’s approaching 45k miles and the service adviser advised against it. Is there any reason why they would advise against it? I find this strange as BMW advises changing the oil in the gearbox in my M3 every 45k miles.
I haven’t been on oppo as much in the past couple of days or weeks or whatever amount of time. You know, been busy doing things in my life. Anyways, looks like I missed something and it looks like everyone is sharing their first post. I thought theme days were a thing of the past, apparently not. So what did I miss…
Since I couldn’t fall back asleep, it’s time for some unnecessary car shopping. Before we get to the car in question, which should be obvious from the picture, I want to talk about another car, my M3.
There is a manual X5 not too far from me, and I’m trying to convince my coworker to at least go look at it.
This week has been excruciatingly slow. I’m thankful it’s almost the weekend. Have a picture of my M3 that I don’t know it has a V8 in it.
Or did I figure out some google algorithm, because my long term E90M3 review is on the first page of google when you search “E90 M3"
This E92 328i is the final year you were able to get a naturally aspirated inline-six, manual transmission, and hydraulic steering in a BMW. Another plus about this particular example is that it’s covered under 19k miles. It is also fitted with a wonderful red interior:
I wore this terrible thing to work today.
A shocking number of people have viewed my post about my second first world problem this week, the fact I had to drive my M3 to work today because my 328i is in the shop. I mentioned something about a coil going on my inline 6, to that, several people in the grays have mentioned that the E9X M3, in fact, has a V8. For…
