I had planned on posting these before I saw ttyymmnn’s Mustang re-edits, so I guess it’ll just be a theme of the day or something.
This weekend brought with it the most anticipated Cars and Coffee of the of the year for the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. The monthly duPont Registry C&C normally takes place at its headquarters in St. Petersburg. This one was held across the bay at the Peter O. Knight Airport on Davis Island in Tampa.
Here’s my pics from yesterday’s Cars And Coffee. scroll to the bottom for the money shot. Not to toot my own horn, but it’s really good.
A few shots of things I liked. All full resolution. Enjoy!
All wallpaper sized! Burtonsville, MD.
Here are my photos from the event, first time in a long time of taking photos. Supposedly the R8 GT belonged to Graham Rahal as well.
Beautiful weather for the first Cars and Coffee at the Bethlehem Steel Stacks. A few firsts for me at this one.
Attended the Canepa Cars and Coffee event today and also wandered through the museum upstairs. I tried out a different split-toning method than I usually do and I quite like how this photo turned out.
I love this hood ornament. Took this at the last C&C event with my Nikon F4S on Fuji 400 film.
This was awesome, if you guys want I can go grab some of the other peoples photos from the event.
A fantastic variety of vehicles and the first time I’ve picked up my camera since October.
Just wanted to get them out here on the site. Most aren’t great but hey it’s something.
Went out to Cars and Coffee this morning. Saw some really nice cars. Missed getting pictures on a Diablo VT and a Ford GT. There were a couple of other people from Oppo there so I’m sure there’ll be pictures somewhere.
In Clutch City, car culture rivals those on the West and East coast. We play our game a little differently, however. We like our horsepower. Lots of it. We are the leading standard for it! Then, once every month, we round up as much horsepower as we can into one spot. That gathering is known as Coffee & Cars.
Saturday was crazy, the best I've ever attended. More shots forthcoming!
I'm going to go to Katie's Cars and Coffee in VA. I'm going this Saturday from 6-6:45 - soccer game across the street - 8:45-9:30. I'm bringing my camera and will provide the subsequent photo dump here. Photo-jalops in DC, I invite you. I'll be the only one there in soccer gear toting a camera. If you have extra Canon…
All shot on a Canon 7D with the latest firmware (2.0.5 I believe), MFA with FoCal, and the only two lenses I used was my 50mm 1.4 and 10-20mm f3.5. Just minor coloring and cropping in CS6. Hardest part is to keep the camera level when shooting with the 10-20. It's hard to establish any reference without a level, but…
One of the vehicles that came to this weekend's PDX C&C was a Rhodium Silver Porsche Boxster S roadster (981) that had some raindrops collected on it. I took a photo of the emblem on the bonnet with a Nikon D800E and a 24mm f/3.5 PC-E tilt/shift lens (1/800s, f/5.6, ISO 800).
A great turnout today at Cars and Coffee Portland. The forecast called for rain but there was none. Because of this we got 3 Aston Martin Vantage's (I've never seen 3 Astons in one place before!), An F430 Spider, R8 V10, 911 Turbo S 918 Edition, and much more.
Today was very rainy yet many nice cars showed up including an R8 V10, 2 Gran Turismos, a few Ferraris, and an Aston Vantage. I shall have a video up later.
