Scotty Kilmer is pretty huge in the YouTube world, with just over one million subscribers and 890 videos to date. This begs me to ask the question, why?
I mean the content is decent and the other guys are fine but is this the Buzzfeed of Car Channels?
I haven’t touched my YouTube channel in years. My latest video is my transition story video with all of like what, 600-some views? At any rate, my idea of turning myself into a massive car media powerhouse didn’t really work out.
Well, a version of this anyway.
Killed by the quirks of his video platform.
I haven’t seen the guy even mentioned since maybe 2012! This morning, Scotty Kilmer came up in my recommendations and I am amazed by the online presence he has amassed. I also realized that he has been on brand for at least this decade since his look has not deviated since the last time I saw him SIX YEARS AGO!

Hmm, I give it an 8 out of 10! Would YouTube…

I had by far the shabbiest MX-5 at the event (#771), but as they say, builds don’t happen overnight. The atmosphere was awesome and there was loads of…
