Prior to our finale, the wonderful world of wedge-shaped supercars nears.
Outside the final twenty cars, we reach vehicles quick by the standards of today.
I love British cars.
1957 Lister Jaguar Monzanapolis.
Was cleaning the cars (merely cleaning, not quite Svending), so I took a quick chance to take a pic of them together before neighbours could get around to complaining.
What is Oppo’s Opponion on these? Vs the 340i most reviews give the edge to the BMW. I am guessing resale is shit based on these values but what about reliability? Performance? interior? tech?
Jaguar Sovereign looking a bit worse for wear
It was HOT... It is June Texas... JUNE... Slow your roll... (read: I am 100% SNAFU in the coming months, this is going to be a horrid summer).
One interesting about Jaguar’s infotainment is that the media display supports non-Latin languages. That’s still a rare thing in cars.
Last week, I brought the tale of the Jaguar XJ to your Oppo feeds, a car that has cemented itself in history as possibly one of the most famous and loved Jaguars ever built, maybe second only to the gorgeous E-Type. But while researching the 50 year life of the XJ, I thought often of one of Jaguar’s models that…
The venerable Jaguar XJ is 50 years old, and what a life it’s had. Cloaked in the veil of dubious British opulence for most of its life, it’s hard to say that its had the easiest time in this world, but it sure has had quite an impact on the world. From being the car of choice of many British government agents, on and…
Introducing the engine we will be putting in our 1973 Mustang. Trust your eyes, you counted correctly. 12 cylinders. This Jaguar 5.3L V12 will be front and centre for our build, and will transform the mustang from base model, into the MACH 12!
..it’s not. But for 600+HP of twin-supercharged V12 wrapped in a couple of tons of Connolly leather I could probably forgive that. Can you imagine paying about 3 times the XJ12 list price for a new one though?
First of all, PSA: Display names can now be changed and saved. Somebody fixed it.
I don’t have the heart to tell them how far down market current Jaguar is going. On a sad side note for this Jag lad, the sedan outlook is looking really grim from here.
Sorry for the post spam. A recent Easter egg discovery that I forgot to share. This is on the back cover of the owner’s manual.
Italian cars are not the only offenders.
This is Dan, I’ve been out of town on business, so I fell behind and I’ve now published “And Tubbed” featuring Bradley Brownell from Cammed and Tubbed, as well as Jalopnik.
I’ll write a longer post about the car detailing process. In short I foamed, clay barred, compounded, polished, and finally waxed it. I’m almost satisfied with the correction however the PNW has rained for 7 days so I haven’t seen it in the sun yet. I forgot to upload most of the pictures from the camera, so when I…
